ASQA registration in progress

All Trades & Licenses

Your years on the tools, recognised.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for experienced Queensland construction tradespeople. Our application for RTO registration with ASQA is in progress.

Our qualifications

These are the seven qualifications we intend to deliver through an RPL pathway, subject to ASQA registration being granted. They're listed for information only and are not currently open for enrolment.

The All Trades & Licenses difference

  • A straight-talking call with a trainer assessor first, so you know you're on the right path before anything else happens.

  • Assessment by people who've worked in construction, for people who still do.

  • RPL first. We look at the work you've already done instead of making you sit through what you already know.

  • Queensland based and construction focused, with QBCC licensing in mind.

  • No false promises. Your outcome depends on your evidence, and we'll tell you honestly where you stand.

Got industry experience and want your skills recognised?

Take our quick RPL eligibility questionnaire. Four questions, about three minutes. It tells you whether Recognition of Prior Learning looks like a fit, and books you a call with a trainer assessor.

  1. Check your eligibility with the questionnaire
  2. Talk it through with a trainer assessor
  3. Gather your evidence: photos, references, work history, licences
  4. Assessment against the national standards, with gap training if needed

Eligibility check and expression of interest only. No enrolments are being taken.

Where QBCC licensing fits in

Most tradespeople who want these qualifications want them for a QBCC licence, whether that's a trade contractor licence or a builder class. CPC qualifications are the technical qualifications QBCC commonly looks for in licence applications.

QBCC decides who gets a licence, not a training provider. A qualification is one part of a licence application. QBCC also assesses things like your experience and financial requirements, and those requirements can change. Confirm the current requirements for your licence class directly with QBCC at qbcc.qld.gov.au.

Who's behind it

All Trades and Licenses is founder-led by Mitchell Lingard, who brings 20+ years of construction experience and holds the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116).

This isn't a training factory. It's a Queensland construction business being built by someone who's spent a working life on and around the tools, for people who've done the same.
